Description

Whether you’re a full-timer or a volunteer, this weekend is for you. Do you need some space to engage with God? How can you know if you are doing the most important things? Does your youth work need an MOT?

You work hard all year, making sure the tuck shop is stocked, coming up with crazy games and operating a free taxi service! We know you want young people to find lasting faith. Being a youth worker is an awesome privilege, but sometimes it’s tough too! We want to say thanks.

Our programme includes: Bible teaching, worship and time to think about your own faith. There will be optional seminars, plenty of coffee, a camp fire, countryside walks and board games too. Whether you need to recharge, find a bit of encouragement or a quiet space to read, you’ll have a chance to do it on the Youth Work Retreat.

The weekend will be hosted by Jason Royce & Chad Chadwick and a brilliant team!

The ticket price includes: accomodation and all your meals.

£30 Early bird tickets available until 6th March. Limited places!

£40 from 1st March.

The Diocese of Peterborough Gen2 Team encourages Churches in their mission and ministry with children and young people. Pete White, Chad Chadwick and Becky Wills are available to advise, train, resource and equip churches to fully include children and young people and to become intergenerational in all aspects of church life, so that “one generation shall praise God’s works to one another” (Psalm 145:4)

Souster Youth is an exciting youth organization, which has been working principally in the towns of Oundle and Thrapston since February 2016. It aims to transform the social, emotional, and spiritual health of young people in our area. It's staff work in schools, churches, and in the local community, and embody the charity’s objectives in the following mission statement: SHARE with young people the good news of the Christian faith; CARE for young people when they need it most and DARE the local churches to get involved and be welcoming places for young people by training and equipping all who work with young people.
